The town is always painted pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month, but what does all the pink really mean? If you’re a woman over 40, it’s time for you to get your mammogram. Early detection in breast cancer saves lives, and the only way to catch it early is to get your yearly mammogram. But women over 40 aren’t the ones who suffer from breast cancer. If a history of breast cancer runs in your family, you might need to be checked before age 40. Join us as Dr. Anita Montes lets you know the risks behind the pink and gives information about how you and your “girls” can stay safe.
